KEYWORDS working wall, fully exposed structure as aesthetic and opportunity for work
A platform hovers gently above a meadow. A wooden frame piercing through the platform. A working wall dividing the space. Topped by a barrel-vaulted roof crafted from reused steel elements - tanks, kegs. An intentionally unfinished project, like a building site showing all its elements: structure, pipes, plywood panels. Making it possible to work on and along the structure—screwing in here and there.
The light captured by the steel barrel roof, reflecting and drawn into the space. Large fabrics modulate the light. North light fills the space throughout the day, offering clarity and consistency. In the morning light enters from east, enriching the color for painting. By evening, western light spills in for painting and late night dinners outdoors in fading the glow.
